{"id":19947,"date":"2024-02-01T10:27:25","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T10:27:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/01\/interim-budget-space-to-get-more-atomic-power-less-n-f-times\/"},"modified":"2024-02-01T10:27:26","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T10:27:26","slug":"interim-budget-space-to-get-more-atomic-power-less-n-f-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/02\/01\/interim-budget-space-to-get-more-atomic-power-less-n-f-times\/","title":{"rendered":"Interim Budget: Space to get more, atomic power less &#8211; N.F Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-514886\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-header post-tp-1-header\">\n<div class=\"single-featured\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix single-post-content\">\n<p><strong>Chennai:<\/strong> Out of the two strategic sectors \u2013 space and atomic power, a higher budgetary allocation has been proposed for one and lower for the other, as compared to previous year, in the Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As per the interim budget papers, an allocation of Rs 13,042.75 crore has been made for Department of Space for 2024-25 up from the Budget Estimates of Rs 12,543.91 crore for 2023-24.<\/p>\n<p>The Revised Estimates for 2023-24 for Department of Space was Rs.11,070.07 crore.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, for 2024-25 the Budget Estimates for Department of Atomic Energy stands at Rs 24,968.98 crore \u2013 net of recoveries \u2013 down from 2023-24 figures of Rs 25,078.49 crore.<\/p>\n<p>The Revised Estimates \u2013 net of recoveries- for Department of Atomic Energy for 2023-24 was Rs 26,799.78 crore.
