The Assembly was supposed to transact business for seven days in the Budget Session.<\/p>\n<p>BJD legislator and government chief whip Prashanta Muduli brought a motion to adjourn the House sine die for the remaining period of the Budget Session.<\/p>\n<p>Opposition BJP MLAs staged a walkout as they were not allowed by the Speaker to speak on the motion moved by the government chief whip in the House.<\/p>\n<p>Finance Minister Bikram Keshari Arukha had tabled Rs 1.18 lakh crore vote on account for the first four months of 2024-25 fiscal in the Assembly yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The Appropriation Bill was passed in the Assembly today.<\/p>\n<p>Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik thanked the Speaker, Deputy Speaker and leaders of legislature parties of BJP and Congress for their cooperation in running the Assembly smoothly in its 15<sup>th<\/sup> session.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis was the last session for me. I will not fight the upcoming Assembly elections in Odisha.
