{"id":25502,"date":"2024-04-15T15:09:12","date_gmt":"2024-04-15T15:09:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/04\/15\/govt-bonds-worth-rs-24000-crore-coming-up-for-auctions-on-friday-n-f-times\/"},"modified":"2024-04-15T15:09:14","modified_gmt":"2024-04-15T15:09:14","slug":"govt-bonds-worth-rs-24000-crore-coming-up-for-auctions-on-friday-n-f-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thenftimes.com\/index.php\/2024\/04\/15\/govt-bonds-worth-rs-24000-crore-coming-up-for-auctions-on-friday-n-f-times\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt bonds worth Rs 24,000 crore coming up for auctions on Friday &#8211; N.F Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> [ad_1]<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-524847\">&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"post-header post-tp-1-header\">\n<div class=\"single-featured\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t&#13;<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix single-post-content\">\n<p>New Delhi: The Finance Ministry on Monday announced the sale of government bonds worth Rs 24,000 in two categories.<\/p>\n<p>The first lot comprises \u20187.37 per cent Government Security 2028\u2019 for a notified amount of Rs 12,000 crore through a price-based auction using the multiple price method, while the second consists of \u2018New Government Security 2064\u2019 with a total value of Rs 12,000 crore (nominal) through yield-based auction using the multiple price method.<\/p>\n<p>The government will have the option to retain additional subscriptions up to Rs 2,000 crore against each security, according to a Finance Ministry statement.<\/p>\n<p>The auctions will be conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Mumbai on April 19.<\/p>\n<p>Up to 5 per cent of the notified amount of the sale of the securities will be allotted to the eligible individuals and institutions as per the scheme for Non-Competitive Bidding Facility in the Auction of Government Securities.<\/p>\n<p>Both competitive and non-competitive bids for the auctions should be submitted in electronic format on the RBI Core Banking Solution (E-Kuber) system on April 19.<\/p>\n<p>The non-competitive bids should be submitted between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., and the competitive bids should be submitted between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., according to the statement.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the auctions will be announced on April 19 and payments by the successful bidders will be made on April 22.<\/p>\n<p>The securities will be eligible for \u2018When Issued\u2019 trading in accordance with the RBI guidelines, the statement said.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(IANS)\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\n&#13;\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script>(function(d, s, id) {\n    var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];\n    if (d.getElementById(id)) return;\n    js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id;\n    js.src = \"\n    fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);\n  }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));<\/script><br \/>\n<br \/>[ad_2]<br \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[ad_1] &#13; &#13; &#13; New Delhi: The Finance Ministry on Monday announced the sale of government bonds worth Rs 24,000 in two categories.
