Bhubaneswar: While Odisha has been reeling under heat wave conditions, rainfall may provide much-needed relief from the extreme weather in some parts of the state from April 20.<\/p>\n
As per the prediction of the Regional Meteorological Centre here, light rain\/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Gajapati, and Ganjam on April 20.<\/p>\n
Similarly, light to moderate rain\/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj on April 21.<\/p>\n
Likewise, light to moderate rain\/ thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bargarh, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Angul, and Balasore on April 22.<\/p>\n
Regarding the prevailing heat wave conditions, the Meteorological Centre said, \u201cDue to prevailing northwesterly\/ westerly dry air and high solar insolation, day temperature is very likely to rise by 2\u00b0C to 4\u00b0C at many places over the districts of Odisha during the next 3 days. Consequently, maximum temperature (day temperature) is likely to be more than 40\u00b0C or above at many places over the districts of Odisha and likely to be above normal by 3 to 5\u00b0C over some districts of Odisha during next 4 to 5 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
