Every actor has their own path to mastering their craft, whether through theatre, television, or films. With the rise of OTT platforms, new possibilities and opportunities are opening up for actors. Sagar Kapoor, who recently made his OTT debut with the Watcho Exclusives series \u2018Flash,\u2019 discussed how OTT has created more opportunities for actors. He believes this shift is transforming the industry.<\/p>\n
Sharing his take on the rise of OTT, Sagar shared, \u2018I definitely believe that OTT platforms are the best thing to happen for all the young aspiring actors who may have struggled to find work previously. Now, they\u2019re doing so well, and I\u2019m very happy to see that.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOTT has opened up a lot of opportunities, allowing us to see such talented actors who might not get the chance to shine in movies. There\u2019s so much talent in the industry, and I\u2019m glad to see them getting their moment,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The young actor portrays Aryan in the Watcho Exclusives series \u2018Flash,\u2019 who embarks on a quest to find his missing brother, Vansh, portrayed by actor Anshul Pandey. Aryan\u2019s profound love for his sibling compels him to take unexpected actions in his relentless pursuit to locate him.<\/p>\n
When asked about his personal experience shooting for the series, Sagar shared, \u201cI have been a part of TV before, and while I did enjoy it to some extent, I feel more suited to movies and OTT platforms. The main drawback I find with TV is that as an actor, you don\u2019t get much time to explore your character. You often receive the script just 15-20 minutes before the shot, and I don\u2019t like that. I need time to prepare for my character, which you get in movies and OTT platforms.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhile shooting for Watcho Exclusives \u2018Flash,\u2019 I would receive the script a day prior, which allowed me time to prepare, and I really appreciated that. I wouldn\u2019t mind doing TV again, but the role would have to excite and challenge me. Otherwise, I don\u2019t think I am meant for daily soap operas.\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
