New Delhi:<\/strong> Home Minister Amit Shah, chaired a high-level review meeting on the Jammu and Kashmir security scenario on Sunday and directed all security agencies to crack down on terrorists in a mission mode. <\/span><\/p>\n Shah also directed agencies to replicate successes achieved in Kashmir through an area domination plan and zero terror plan in Jammu division. Shah said that PM Modi-led government is committed to setting an example by cracking down on terrorists through innovative means. <\/span><\/p>\n National security advisor Ajit Doval, Lieutenant governor of J&K Manoj Sinha, chief of army staff General Manoj Pandey, Union home secretary, director, intelligence bureau and other senior army officers were present at the meeting.<\/span><\/p>\n Shah highlighted the need for seamless coordination among security agencies to address security concerns in vulnerable areas. Recent events point out a shift from highly coordinated terrorist activities to a more subtle proxy war. Shah reaffirmed the commitment to eradicate terrorism.<\/p>\n Ahead of the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on June 29 to August 19, Shah called for preparedness and vigilance.<\/p>\n Earlier this week, terrorists targeted four locations in the Reasi, Kathua, and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir. These attacks resulted in the deaths of nine pilgrims and a CRPF jawan, with seven security personnel injured. Additionally, security forces killed two Pakistani terrorists in Kathua district and a significant quantity of arms and ammunition were recovered.<\/p>\n PM Modi chaired a high-level meeting on Thursday to discuss the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir following the series of terror-related incidents.
