Nayagarh<\/strong>: The Nayagarh Superintendent of Police (SP) Rahul Jain has suspended three police officials on charges of dereliction of duty on Wednesday.<\/p>\n The suspended cops have been identified as Sub-inspector (SI) Hasina Pradhan, Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Rajeswari Nayak, and Constable Purnachandra Mohapatra from Nayagarh Sadar Police Station.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The suspension follows allegations that the officers instructed complainants to return home instead of filing their complaints, thereby neglecting their duties.<\/p>\n According to sources, a series of thefts occurred in Golagola village, under the jurisdiction of Sadar police station, on Monday night. The victims of these thefts, who had reportedly lost ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh, rushed to the Sadar police station to file their complaints.
