Puri: The \u2018Adapa Mandap Bije\u2019 rituals of Lord Jagannath and his siblings will be held in Puri today. The deities will be taken to \u2018Adapa Mandap\u2019 of Gundicha temple by the servitors today in a special ritual called \u2018Pahandi Bije\u2019.<\/p>\n
The Adapa Mandapa is also considered as the birth place of the Lords. Today, all the rituals of the Lords will be performed atop the chariots.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, the three chariots Taladhwaja, Darpadalan and Nandighosha rolled on the Grand Road from Singhadwar and reached the Gundicha Temple.<\/p>\n
After the chariots of the Lords reach the Gundicha Temple, the deities spend a day in their respective chariots, and all the rituals are performed on the chariots. On the following day, the deities are taken inside the Gundicha Temple in a ritual known as \u2018Goti Pahandi\u2019, wherein Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra are seated on the \u2018Adapa Mandap\u2019. The entire ritual is known as \u2018Adapa Mandap Bije.\u2019<\/p>\n
The \u2018Charamalas\u2019 of the chariots will be fixed after the completion of \u2018Sandhya Dhupa\u2019 and then the Holy Trinity along with Lord Sudarshana will be carried to the \u2018Janmabedi\u2019 in \u2018Goti Pahandi\u2019 by the servitors of Srimandir. Lord Madana Mohan and Ramakrushna will also be ushered into the \u2018Adapa Mandap\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
