Justice N Kotiswar Singh is presently serving as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.<\/p>\n<p class=\"continue-read-break\" data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;}\">\u201cIn exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh, Chief Justice, High Court of Jammu &amp; Kashmir and Ladakh, to be a Judge of the Supreme Court of India, with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office,\u201d the notification by the Law Ministry read.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;}\">Justice Mahadevan is presently the Acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court.<\/p>\n<p data-t=\"{&quot;n&quot;:&quot;blueLinks&quot;}\">\u201cIn exercise of the powers conferred by clause (2) of Article 124 of the Constitution of India, the President is pleased to appoint Shri Justice R.
