The Railways has been constructing this line from both sides, i.e., Khurda Road and Balangir, to ensure the project\u2019s early completion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bs-padding-1-1\">Till now, 105.8 kilometres from Khurda Road to Daspalla and 47 kilometres from Balangir to Sonepur have been commissioned.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bs-padding-1-1\">Apart from this, Sonepur to Jharmunda, a distance of 28.765Kms has also been completed. The segment from Sonepur to Purunakatak, covering about 73 kilometres, is expected to be completed within the next few months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bs-padding-1-1\">The Khurda Road-Balangir project emphasised the importance of completing the construction within the targeted timeline.
