The distress signal reported that a 51-year-old Chinese sailor was critically injured, suffering from heavy blood loss, and required immediate evacuation.<\/p>\n<p>In response, a Seaking helicopter took off from the Indian Naval Air Station INS Shikra at 6 in the morning. Despite challenging weather conditions, with winds exceeding 45 knots and the ship experiencing significant rolling, the team managed to airlift the patient from the bridge wing of the vessel without a clear area on the continuous deck.<\/p>\n<p>The individual was flown back to the air station by the Indian Navy helicopter and then transferred to a hospital for further medical treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, ICGS Samrat was redirected to provide support.
