Nayagarh<\/strong>: A man committed suicide by hanging himself before killing his 6-year-old daughter at Debottara Lane 4 area under Town police limits in Nayagarh district.<\/p>\n The deceased have been identified as Pulak Biswal (38) and his daughter Pallabi Biswal (6).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n As per reports, Pulak got married for the second time three months back following the death of his first wife. His second wife went to her father\u2019s house on Monday. After spending two days there, she returned to Nayagarh to her husband\u2019s place. There, she discovered that the door was locked from the inside.<\/p>\n Despite her efforts to open the door, she was unsuccessful. Concerned and suspicious, she promptly informed the police. In the presence of the local magistrate, the Town Police arrived at the scene late at night and forcibly entered Pulak\u2019s house.<\/p>\n To their horror, they found the lifeless body of his daughter on the bed, while Pulak\u2019s body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan. The police have initiated an investigation to uncover the motive behind Pulak\u2019s drastic actions of killing his daughter and taking his own life.<\/p>\n Although they have begun questioning Pulak\u2019s second wife and her family members, they have not yet found a conclusive reason behind the tragic events.
