Bhubaneswar<\/strong>: The Odisha government on Thursday reinstated the service of suspended senior OAS officer, Deba Prasad Das, and appointed him as Joint Secretary to the Government, Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department.<\/p>\n The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has issued a notification reinstating Das in service from the date of his joining with a condition that he must adhere to the Odisha Government Servants\u2019 Conduct Rules, 1959.<\/p>\n On being reinstated in service, Deba Prasad Das has been appointed as Joint Secretary to the Government, Odia LL&C Department.<\/p>\n OAS officer Deba Prasad Das was placed under suspension on 28 May 2018 by the previous BJD government as a part of departmental disciplinary action.<\/p>\n Dash served as a joint secretary in the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (SSEPD) when he faced suspension without prior notice.
