New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced a \u201cnew member\u201d to his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg in Delhi on Saturday.<\/p>\n
Posting a video on X, PM Modi referenced a scriptural saying, \u201cGaav: Sarvasukha Prada:,\u201d to announce the arrival of a new addition to his family.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is said in our scriptures \u2013 \u2018Gaavh Sarvasukh Pradaah\u2019. A new member has auspiciously arrived at the Prime Minister\u2019s residence premises at Lok Kalyan Marg\u201d PM Modi said in a Hindi post on X.<\/p>\n
The new member is a calf, born to a cow at the Prime Minister\u2019s residence, with a distinctive light-shaped mark on its forehead.<\/p>\n
Inspired by this feature, PM Modi named the calf \u2018Deepjyoti,\u2019 which translates to \u2018light flame.\u2019<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the Prime Minister\u2019s residence, the beloved mother cow has given birth to a new calf, which has a symbol of light on its forehead. Hence, I have named it \u2018Deepjyoti\u2019,\u201d he shared.<\/p>\n
In the video, Prime Minister Modi is seen showing affection to the newborn calf, gently petting and playing with it, and walking around his garden while holding the calf.<\/p>\n
PM Modi also shared photographs in which he is spending time with the calf at his residence.<\/p>\n
