Bengaluru:<\/strong> Britain\u2019s King Charles made a private visit to Bengaluru, staying at an expansive integrative medical facility, sources reported on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Queen Camilla.<\/p>\n \u201cThe royal couple followed a special diet as part of their wellness treatments. Their rejuvenation regimen included meditation and various therapies,\u201d an official stated.<\/p>\n \u201cThey also relished lengthy strolls around the 30-acre campus and visits to an organic farm,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n \u201cThey stayed at the facility for three days and departed from the city this morning,\u201d he further added.<\/p>\n The King\u2019s visit to \u2018SOUKYA\u2019, the International Holistic Centre located at Samethanahalli, near Whitefield, is not his first. In 2019, he celebrated his 71st birthday there. The centre is managed by Dr Issac Mathai, who was one of the select individuals from India invited to his coronation as the King of the UK.<\/p>\n Over the years, Charles has actively supported Ayurveda. He was present with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the UK in April 2018, at the Science Museum in London, for the inauguration of a new Ayurvedic Centre of Excellence.
