New Delhi: A police complaint has been registered against actor Prakash Raj over his social media post mocking Indian Space Research Organisation\u2019s (ISRO) ambitious third lunar mission\u2013 Chandrayaan-3.<\/p>\n
The complaint was filed in a police station of Karnataka\u2019s Bagalkot district.<\/p>\n
As Chandrayaan-3 is managing to script history by landing on the Moon\u2019s south pole, Prakash tweeted a picture of a cartoon depicting a man in a vest and lungi pouring tea, which he called the \u2018first picture coming from the Moon\u2019, subtly mocking the Vikram Lander of the Chandrayaan 3 mission. Now, a complaint has been filed over the same.<\/p>\n
\u201cA complaint has been filed against actor Prakash Raj for his post on the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Hindu organisations\u2019 leaders filed a complaint against him at Banahatti police station of Bagalkote district and demanded action,\u201d ANI reported.<\/p>\n
In his tweet, the veteran actor shared the cartoon and wrote, \u201cBREAKING NEWS:- First picture coming from the Moon by #VikramLander Wowww #justasking.\u201d The post prompted criticism from users who found his remark derogatory with people saying that the Chandrayaan-3 mission is linked to the country\u2019s pride.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
