Mumbai: Thirty-five years flew by like thirty-five days, said Salman Khan as the superstar celebrated the milestone in his Bollywood career and thanked the audience for their love.<\/p>\n
The 57-year-old actor started his journey in movies with 1988\u2019s \u201cBiwi Ho To Aisi\u201d, which turned 35 on August 22, 2023. He made his debut as a lead in \u201cMaine Pyar Kiya\u201d, which released on December 29, 1989.<\/p>\n
On Saturday, Salman shared a video montage comprising clips from his films, including \u201cMaine Pyar Kiya\u201d, \u201cHum Aapke Hain Koun..!\u201d, \u201cHum Dil De Chuke Sanam\u201d, \u201cDabangg\u201d, \u201cSultan\u201d, \u201cEk Tha Tiger\u201d, \u201cWanted\u201d and his last theatrical release \u201cKisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u201cThirty-five years went by like 35 days. Thank u for your love (sic)\u201d the actor captioned the post on X, formerly Twitter.<\/p>\n
Salman Khan Films, the production house founded by Salman in 2014, also marked the 35 years of the star\u2019s Bollywood journey.<\/p>\n
\u201cThirty-five years of Salman Khan\u2019s romance with cinema, a journey filled with action and a legacy that will go on. @BeingSalmanKhan #35YearsOfSalmanKhanReign,\u201d the banner wrote.<\/p>\n
The actor, son of prolific screenwriter Salim Khan and producer Salma Khan, was launched into films by director Sooraj Barjatya with \u201cMaine Pyar Kiya\u201d, a film that established Salman as the quintessential lover boy, \u2018Prem\u2019.<\/p>\n
He went on to star in musical romance dramas such as \u201cSaajan\u201d, \u201cHum Aapke Hain Koun..!\u201d, \u201cKhamoshi: The Musical\u201d, \u201cPyaar Kiya To Darna Kya\u201d, and \u201cJab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai\u201d.<\/p>\n
Salman also showed off his comic timing in movies such as \u201cNo Entry\u201d, \u201cMujhse Shaadi Karogi\u201d, and \u201cMaine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?\u201d as well as tried his hand at roles outside his comfort zone with \u201cPhir Milenge\u201d, \u201cBajrangi Bhaijaan\u201d, \u201cTubelight\u201d, and \u201cBharat\u201d.<\/p>\n
He shifted gears with \u201cWanted\u201d, an out-and-out action drama, and went on to star in high-octane stunt spectacles \u201cKick\u201d as well as franchises like \u201cDabangg\u201d and \u201cEk Tha Tiger\u201d.<\/p>\n
