Berhampur (Corresp.) : The National Sports Day has been celebrated in the premises of Khallikote college stadium by the members of Ganjam District Hand-ball union on 29th August in which Berhampur MLA B.K. Panda was present as the chief guest while the adviser of the union Sanjeet Panigrahy, Town BJD vice-president and social worker Banamali sethi and Girija Shankar Tripathy have attended as the guests of honour. A friendly match was played between Berhampur team and Ganjam team on this auspicious occasion to commemorate the day. In the match Berhampur team defeated Ganjam Team by 17-12 points. Among others Ganjam Hand ball team Secretary Suresh Kumar Padhy, NIS coach-cum- international Refery Prasant Kumar Rath,vice-President Saroj Kumar Samanta, cashier M.K. Patro, Ex-Army Ajit Kumar, coach Devraj, sports teacher and national refery A.
