Bhubaneswar: The deep depression over Bay of Bengal has intensified into a cyclonic storm, revealed the IMD today.
The cyclonic storm will intensify into a severe cyclonic storm in the next 12 hours, said the IMD.
Images of the eye of the cyclonic storm have been captured by the Doppler radar installed on Paradip coast in Odisha, added the IMD.
The cyclonic storm, named as Hamoon, is very likely to move nearly north-northeastwards and cross the Bangaladesh coast between Khepupara and Chittagong around the evening of October 25, predicted the IMD.
