Jajpur, Pratap Prusty : On Tuesday, a group of agitated people in Samantarapur, Jajpur locked up the School gate of Maa Khageswari High School on the clerk’s defiant attitude. The parents of the school children claimed to have been- the clerk of the said school Sri Shyama Sundar Pradhan has been violating the school discipline and acting willfully which leads to hampering the smooth functioning of the institution. People have raised a number of complaints against the said clerk like the clerk doesn’t come to the school timely, he keeps himself absent from the duty without prior sanctioning of leave or without informing to the school authority etc. The people have also claimed that Mr Pradhan, being a local resident of the school area, is trying to influence the matters politically. Sri Dandadhar Sahoo, the Headmaster of the School made the agitated people calm by assuring them that the matter will be informed to the higher authority and the necessary action in this connection deemed fit will be taken against him. Finally, the agitated people were calm down and said their agitation will again take place unless the matter will be disposed at the earliest.
