Berhampur : The BeMC level Festival has been organised in the UCP Engineering School Ground since last two days. Today in the 2nd evening a special cultural programme was organised in the Eve of Pongal, the Telugu community festival in which Berhampur MP Chandra Sekhar Sahu attended as the Chief Guest while MLA Bikram Kumar Panda, Chatrapur MLA Subash Chandra Behera, Ganjam Collector & DM Divyajyoti Parida, Berhampur SP Dr. Sarvana Vivek M, Rangeilunda Block Chairman C.H. Usharani, Yojana Board Chairman & Ex. MLA Dr.R.C.C.Pattanayak, Mayor Sanghamitra Dalai, Dy. Mayor E.Vivek Reddy, State Cashew Nigam Chairman & Greenman of Silk city Subash Chandra Maharana, BeMC Commissioner J. Sonal, ZP chief executive officer Keerthi Vasan, Sub Collector Ashutosh Kulkarni attended as the guest of honour. Chatarpur MLA & Deputy commissioner deliberated their speech in Telugu language attracted the attention of the spectators. They brought the attention of the spectators that the whole world is looking at the progress of Osihsa in the field of sports, games and cultural events & in this connection BeMC is one step ahead. In this auspicious evening the Ex. captain of Hockey Odisha ( 1970- 1975) Simadri Behera & Veteran player Akshaya Panda were felicitated by the Guests. In the 2nd cultural evening the Telugu melody songs of the renowned singers Geeta Madhuri and her team entertained the public very much. Similarly the melodious songs of Smruti Mishra, Ruturaj and Nitin Mohan entertained the spectators. Everyone enjoyed the event with the greatest satisfaction.
