A major fire erupted in the AC coaches of Korba-Visakhapatnam Express at Visakhapatnam railway station on platform number four this afternoon.
The B6, B7, and M1 AC coaches were completely gutted in the blaze. Fortunately, there were no passengers present in the affected coaches.
Firefighters were quickly deployed to tackle the blaze. So far, there have been no reports of casualties or property damage, but the situation is under ongoing evaluation.
Officials acted swiftly to evacuate passengers, as the blaze gutted three coaches.
