Angul: A college girl reportedly went missing after being swept away in the Ghudabuda canal near Sunabhui village under Bantala police limits in Angul district on Tuesday.
The missing girl has been identified as Priti Behera of Sunabhui village.
As per reports, the mishap occurred when Priti was returning home after attending college. While she was crossing the stream on her bicycle she was swept away by a sudden gush of water.
On intimation, fire brigades rushed to the spot and launched a search operation.
