Bureau Head (PKB) : The RTO office of koraput has been doing fantastic job in connection with the issuance of driving license, registration and fitness test etc but in order to tarnish the reputation of the RTO koraput, some dalals (brokers ) are constantly trying to spread miscalculated information which holds no base or meaning. On the question of alleged monetary transaction, Speaking to our correspondents, some truck and bus owners categorically stated that there is no illegal monetary transaction taking place in RTO office koraput. There was a time earlier lots of illegal open transaction of money taking place not only in koraput but also in all the RTO offices of the state. But now the situation is different. All the employees working at RTO office are doing works as per the provision of rules and regulations. The present laws implemented by the government of odisha are strictly followed.
On the charges of corruption brought by some elements, owners also stated that introduction of cashless transaction is completely based on the digital mode which had already smashed the whims and vandalism of the brokerraj bringing reformation in the system. The brokers used to earn huge amount of money earlier but such scope is no more in prevalence by which they can exploit the innocent people. As their source of illegal earning of money had been stopped, so they spread misinformation about RTO koraput, said one of the members of the lorry association of Jeypore Mr. Nilu Mahapatra.We wanted to take comments of the RTO regarding the charges but found his mobile in not reachable mode. The police administration of koraput needs to be vigilant upon the activities of the brokers who are trying not only to spread false information but also working as obstacles in the implementation of the government policies and plans.
