Jajpur, Pratap Prusty: A Central expert team officials of Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation had a visit at the site of ongoing Mega Drinking Water project built under Jal Jeevan Mission under Government of India at Raghunathpur Panchayat under Binjharpur block, Jajpur. The team inspected the under constructed project site and extracted the details of progress work.
The officials had a series of interaction with the locals regarding the project. The team had taken feedback, grievances from the locals regarding this project. It had also conveyed message to the locals that how this project is going to be a game changer in their life. “Water scarcity is an unavoidable problem for each one, the level of the surface water is going deeper day by day, so it is the responsibility of each individuals to be more cautious towards the minimum wastage of water”, urged the officials to the local present there. Moreover, the team invited the local SHG groups for their active participation in timely revenue collection. The officials of the concerned ongoing project were advised to expedite the project work as well as the pipeline connection. The officials of the Water Project were advised to be impartial towards the distribution of the water supply to the beneficiaries irrespective of their socio-economic status as well.
The team was compromised of Shri Sanjib Kumar Bordoloi from Assam, Shri Ramesh Chandra Mishra from Uttarakhand, Shri Susanta Kumar Ghadai, Suptd. Engineer, Rural Drinking water and Asst. Engineer Bikram Pradhan. The team of the ongoing project comprising JE. Anil Kumar Samal, JE. Puspanjali Rath, Gagan Kumar, Gopinath Bramha, Karunakar Sahoo, Sanjeev Mullick, Smruti Ranjan Dhal were present in the inspection and coordinated the team.
