Malkangiri: The jawans of the Border Security Force (BSF) have busted a Maoist dump in the Badigeta area under Kalimela tehsil in Malkangiri district and seized a huge cache of explosives and ammunition.
The Maoist dump was busted after a special operation was carried out by BSF troops from the Company Operating Base (COB) Bodigetta and the THQ 142 Bn BSF at the Bejangiwada Reserve forest area.
Upon reaching the target and conducting an extensive search, the operations team discovered a Maoist dump concealed within a cave in the Bejangiwada Reserve Forest near Telarai village. The dump contained two tiffin bombs, each weighing 3 kg, concealed by the Maoists. Additionally, 62 gelatin sticks, two 12-volt batteries, 39 Maoist caps, banners, posters, pamphlets, electric plugs, and a variety of other Maoist materials were confiscated.
