Bhubaneswar: BJP National President JP Nadda arrived at Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar on Thursday for a day-long visit to Odisha.
Nadda is scheduled to first pay tributes to the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar at AG Square, followed by a meeting with intellectuals. Post this engagement, he will conduct discussions about the membership campaign at the party headquarters. He is also expected to meet with ministers, MPs, MLAs, and state office bearers at the state party office to deliberate on strategies for augmenting party membership and broadening its reach in Odisha, according to sources.
The party’s general secretary, Jatin Mohanty, stated that Nadda will participate in a series of party events and contribute to the ongoing large-scale membership drive that began in the state on September 3, before leaving for New Delhi later in the day. “Nadda’s visit is intended to enhance our Sadasyata Abhiyan, or membership campaign, to make it more comprehensive,” Mohanty remarked, highlighting that party workers are essential to the organization.
