In the national capital New Delhi, the price of 24-carat gold is slightly higher at ₹1,27,190, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,16,600.
Southern metro Chennai has recorded 24-carat gold at ₹1,27,860, and 22-carat gold at ₹1,17,200 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, Kolkata has maintained the price level at ₹1,27,040 for 24-carat and ₹1,16,450 for 22-carat gold.
On the other hand, silver prices have also surged. The price of silver has reached ₹1,67,000 per kilogram.
