The city known as the ‘White City’ is Udaipur, located in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Udaipur gets this nickname because a large number of its structures are built using white marble, giving the entire city a glowing, luminous appearance. The city is home to numerous historic palaces, havelis and monuments made of white stone, making it stand out from other cities.
The white architecture significantly enhances Udaipur’s scenic charm and contributes to its recognition as the ‘White City’.
