Cuttack (Corresp.) : Jazba Hashim Abdullah Trust Chairman, Mr. Sadfar Hashim has been awarded with Bravery Award 2022 by International Human Rights Defenders at Jayadev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar. IHRD is a leading Non Government Organization with a pan India presence. It is playing a stellar role in eradicating poverty and reform the society towards social justice. IHRD is committed to defend human rights at all times irrespective of caste, creed, color or gender. The award was presented by Union Minister for Social Justice & Empowerment, Mr. Ramdas Athawale.
Jazba, since its inception has been pivotal in socially beneficial projects in a transparent and organized manner. It strives to work with various communities to improve the lives of others in need and was in the forefront during COVID crises & cyclone Phony. It has also organized community kitchen services feeding the poor and destitute. Also, over the last few months Jazba is working tirelessly serving the sick people from the economically backward sections of the society, providing quality medical aid for free. It has organized camps where prosthetic limbs, walkers, crutches and wheel chairs were distributed to differently-able section of the society.
The function was also graced by Honorable Mayor of Bhubaneswar, Smt. Sulochana Das & Sri. Akash Das Nayak, Chairperson, Mo College.
