Berhampur Excise team have seized 120kgs of ‘Ganja’ alongwith a car & 2 accused have been arrested. It is said that on getting information from reliable sources about illegal transport of ganja in a white car, constable Sushant Mahakud of Excise department informed to Deputy Excise Superintendent Ashok Satpathy. On the direction of Satpathy, I.E Geetanjali Sahu & stood guard followed a Tata Safari white car from Dengaustta towards Berhampur in civil dress and caught the vehicle at first gate, Berhampur with two accused namely Unesh Mehoob S.K and Sahid Shakili respectively of Maharastra with 120kgs of ‘Ganja’ which was to be transported to Mumbai from Mohana the cost of the ‘Ganja’ is approximately 12 lakhs. More investigation is going to trace out the other accused concerned who involved in the ganja smuggling racket. The two accused would be produced before the court of law after investigation.
