Blood is the drop of life. “Donate Blood, Save Life” has been given active shape by organising a Grand Blood Donation Camp at Benipur, Jajpur on Tuesday. The Camp was organised on the occasion of 8th death anniversary of Late Sri Golakh Samal by the Helping Hand, one of the most active social organization of Jajpur in collaboration with the ‘Golakh Memorial Trust’. The Camp was inaugurated by Sri Bhaba Prasad Dash, the representative of MLA, Jajpur in which, Sri Sourav Chakraborty was attended as the chief guest. In this camp, the other dignitaries who were present, are Sri Jyotisankar Bhujbal, Tahsildar Jajpur, Mrs. Swarnalata Parida, the Chairman, Jajpur block, Mrs. Sunita Rout, the Jillaparisad member, Sri Sujit Ray, the Sarpanch Benipur, Mrs. Smruti Rekha Samal, the PS member. The Camp was successfully held in with collection of 101 unit blood. The members of Blood Bank, Cuttack collected the donated blood and thanked to the organizing committee and the associates. The chief of establishing committee of the social organization Helping Hand, Mr. Prasanta Sarangi, Secretary Ramesh Sahoo, Gopal Samal, Satya Ranjan Sahoo, Gopal Samal, Deepak Jena, Santosh Dash, Anant Nayak, Smruti Ranjan Panda, Gouranga Samal, Goutam Samal and Sridhar Tripathy were actively participated and encouraged the blood donors. At the end of the successfully closing of this mega event, 5 numbers of Social organization of Jajpur were awarded for their selfless service.
