Rourkela : Four Teams comprising 33 employees of Mechanical Shop and one employee each from Blast Furnace and Plate Mill Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) were awarded under the ‘Utkarsh’ recognition scheme. Mr. Ravi Ranjan, CGM (Design, Shops and Roll Shop) presented the awards to the employees in a program organised at the Department recently. Present on the occasion were other senior officers and employees of the department.
The special jobs which fetched them the awards were “Manufacturing of Turn Table Roll for Plate Mill”, “Reconditioning of Mixer Ladle for SMS II”, “Repairing of BF4 CDI Mill Driving Disc and “Reconditioning of Sinter Exciter Gear box for Blast Furnace”.
Mr. Shekhar Narayan, GM In-charge (Design & Shops(Mech), welcomed the gathering while Mr. D. Rout, Sr. Manager (Shops(Mech Shop)) proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Mr. K R Mishra, Sr. Manager (Shops-Mech Shop).
