Buruea Head (PKB): The Govt High School Jeypore Celebrated ” The Global Handwashing Day” with warmth and enthusiasm. This day is celebrated in October 15th which is dedicated to increasing the awareness and understanding about the importance of hand washing with soap as an effective and affordable way to prevent diseases and save life. The staff members of govt High school including their students participated in the hand washing day. The Red cross society of govt High school Jeypore while Celebrating the world Red cross day included the Celebration of global Handwashing Day in which students were given a wide and extensive training regarding the importance of handwashing. The students present on the occasion were also asked to share the importance of Handwashing to their neighbours. The headmaster of the Govt High School Simanchal Mishra presided over the meeting of Red Cross in which Red cross in charge Jagyanswar Panda highlighted the different techniques of handwashing. The senior teachers Prakash Patnaik, Prabhat ku. Rath, Biswa Ranjan Gauda, Subarna kumari Khilla, Sucharita Patnaik co-operated in coordinating the handwashing day. Subhasmita Sahu proposed the vote of thanks on the occasion.
