Rourkela : A Pre retirement employee empowerment workshop ‘ROSHNI’ was held at HRD Centre of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant on 11th November 2022. Mr. Dhirendra Mishra, GM (Personnel Works) presided over the inaugural session. Also present on the dais was Mr. G R Dash, GM (Personnel). Notably, 32 employees including executives are superannuating in the month of November 2022.
The sessions covered topics such as Final Settlement Dues and Financial Security Planning, Procedure for Smooth Final Settlement, Mindset For Smooth Transition to a New Phase of Life after Retirement, Ensuring Good Health, Well Being of Body and Mind and Safe uses of IT to facilitate smooth and stress-free transition from active employed life to post retirement life.The sessions were taken by executives from different departments namely Mr. G R Dash, Mr. R R Sarangi, DGM (F&A), Mr. V S Sahota, DGM (SP-II), Mr. V P Arya, AGM (C&IT), Dr. Sivalkar, ACMO (Medical), Mr. H K Sahoo, Assistant Manager (TS) and Mr. D K Dash, Assistant Manager (F&A).
At the outset, Mr. G R Dash welcomed the gathering. Mr. Rajib Mukherjee, Senior Manager (Personnel) along with Mr. K Panda, Labour Inspector and Personnel Welfare team coordinated the Workshop.
