Khordha : On the decision of High Level Drug Disposal Committee led by J. N. Pankaj, IG, of Police STF, BBSR, SP, STF, BBSR, SP, CID, CB, Cuttack, Deputy Collector, Khordha, Superintendent of Excise, Khordha, DSP, STF in presence of scientific officers of state forensic science laboratory and members of State Pollution Board disposed bulk quantity of contrabaned brown sugar i. e. 1042 gm in 01 cases i. e. STF case no -11/2022,U/S-21(c)/29 NDPS, Act and Ganja i.e. 5257 kg in 02 cases i.e. STF PS, case nos-01/2018,802/2018 U/S-20(b)(ii)(c)/29 NDPS, Act-1985,Which were seized from the possession of accused persons at a designated incinerator, i.e. Sari Clean Pvt. Ltd. Tangiapada, Khordha following all due procedure. The seized drugs, ganja was first authenticated by concerned court and handed over to drugs disposal committee for the destruction. Till date STF has destructed of 25 kg 538 gm brown sugar in 21 cases and 115 quintal 97kg ganja in 14 cases including today destruction. Similarly Odisha police has destructed more than 870 quintal ganja in 323 cases and more than 30 kg 600 gm brown sugar in 41 cases.
