Ganjam : Union Bank opened its 62th branch in Ganjam district on Wednesday. The bank totally launched five branches with self-service banking facility across the state and the one at Mubarak Palace near HIRA PETROL PUMP, Surada, sources said. The Surada branch was inaugurated by SATYA BARTA SAMALA Regional Head, BBSR, Regional Manager Suresh Ranjan, Asst. general manager Rama Chandra Behera, Chief Manager Venkat Roman Behera, Senior BJD Leader Syed Mubarak attended as guest of honour. Opening of new branch, the total number of branches across India reached to 9000. According to officials, the bank contemplates opening more branches before the end of the current financial year.
