Art is not only just drawing, sketching and colouring. It’s yet another way of showcasing ideas and the way a person visualizes both animate and inanimate objects.
Apeejay School Bhubaneswar hoisted the Anand Art Mela in the loving memory of Late Mr Anand Paul whose birthday is commemorated on 26thFebruary every year.
The objective of the Pan-India Art Mela is to bring children from different strata of society under one roof, thereby recognising and applauding the kids within the age group of 9 to 12 years.
The Art Mela was graced by Miss Ayushi Pati who belongs to the Odisha CivilService batch 2019 and was posted as Deputy Collector Cuttack, ,Mr Tarakanta Parida Founder and Principal of Kalinga Art College and Mr Sujit Mohapatra Founder Bakul Library.
The Art Mela ushered in participation of approximately 9 to 10 Non -governmental organization involved in uplifting the less privileged children.
Children from the school also participated in the art bonanza.
The theme of the Art Mela was One Earth,One Family, One Future (Implying that the benefits of development should be inclusive and reach out to each individual).
The kids with excellent artistic bent of mind were awarded by the Chief Guest and judges. A moment for all the winners to feel elated. The Winner’s List Ipshita Nayak from Stewart school bags the 1st position. Beronica Nahakfrom K. V-school bags the 2nd position. Girish from Apeejay school bags 3rd position .
