Yes, completely down to the soil who takes passion to smell the fragrance of the flowers, aroma of the freshness of early sunrise, pays attention to listen to the ripples of the waves, even the humming sounds of the bees hardly escape from his ears, and a minute observer of the realities of our society is the slightest features of Mr. Manash Ranjan Barik, who got greater degree of accolades during the most pressing Corona times.
His much awaited short stories within five to six lines entitled as ” Annugalpa Manasanka” got launching on Saturday at Biju Patnaik Police Academy, Bhubaneswar. Joining the august literary occasion, the Director of Police Academy, Mr.Arun Kumar Sadangi, Special Director of Panchayat Raj and Drinking Water Mr Arindam Dakua and renowned Writer Mr. Siba Mishra described Mr. Barik as a dynamic officer. After the launching of mini stories , the guests present on this auspicious occasion candidly depicted the moral, ethical and professional values of Mr. Barik. He is not only an entity of duty bound officer but also a poet having a head to think and heart to feel gentle man for our beloved society.
All the short stories and poems being written by Mr Barik focuses on the visible truths and naked realities of our day to day life. It was reported that Paschima Publication of Bhubaneswar headed the responsibility of this “Annugalpa Manasanka” publication . It has 207 mini stories. As per the information received from the Writer, “there is a story of one line in this publication which is the shortest and interestingly, the longest one is of five lines”
The dignitaries present on the occasion wished Mr. Barik,better future for him. While many described him ” a honest and noble heart” who sheds tears for the deprived and homeless creatures as a poet cum writer but takes strean action against the evil doers. His poetic journey will go miles of distance before he sleeps as termed by many intellectuals present on the occasion. DSP Gouri Sankar Siba Prasad Nanda proposed vote of thanks while Mr. Balamukunda Dash, the noted writer cum president Chilika Sahitya Society administrated the management of the stage.
