Cuttack: A head-on collision between a bus and a truck killed at least two persons and left around 40 others injured on Cuttack-Chandbali road near Katarapada under Nischintakoili block of Odisha’s Cuttack district, today.
As per reports, the bus carrying the passengers was heading towards Cuttack from Chandbali, during which it collided head-on with a truck at around 7.30 am.
While two of the passengers died on the spot under the impact of the collision, others were injured in the road accident.
On being informed, Fire Services personnel rushed to the spot and launched an operation to rescue the passengers trapped in the damaged bus.
