Bhubaneswar: With no significant synoptic system lying over the region, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over several districts of Odisha during the next 72 hours, India Meteorological Department (IMD) regional centre in Bhubaneswar forecasted today.
In its mid-day bulletin, the IMD mentioned, “Minimum temperatures observed appreciable rise at one or two places over the districts of South Interior Odisha , appreciable fall at one or two places over the districts of North Interior Odisha and no large change at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few places over the districts of Interior Odisha, appreciably below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, below normal at one or two places over the districts of Interior Odisha, above normal at one or two places over the districts of Odisha and normal at elsewhere over the districts of Odisha.”
Temperature forecast: Minimum (night) temperature is likely to gradually rise by 2oC to 3oC during next three days. No large change thereafter at many places over the districts of Odisha.
The highest maximum temperature of 35.0°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 14.6°C was recorded at Rourkela in the plains of Odisha.
