Berhampur: In a tragic incident, two persons travelling on a scooter were killed as the vehicle collided head-on with a bus near College Square under Kotinda police limits in Aska area of Odisha’s Ganjam district, early this morning.
The deceased were identified as Kunal Sahu and K Rajesh of Gosani Nuagaon area.
As per reports, the road mishap took place when the duo was returning home on the ill-fated scooter.
The impact of the collision between the two-wheeler and the bus killed them on the spot.
Police have seized the bus and started investigation into the matter. The bus driver was detained for questioning.
The bodies were recovered by the cops for post-mortem.
