Four killed in separate road accidents in Odisha – N.F Times



Bhubaneswar: Separate road accidents in Odisha’s Khordha and Bhadrak districts claimed lives of four persons, today.

An unidentified vehicle hit a motorcycle on which a brother-sister duo was travelling near Gedimundia under Bolagarh block of Khordha district, killing the two on the spot. The mishap took place late last night.

The deceased hailed from Banamalipur village in Nayagarh district. Police have recovered the bodies for post-mortem and started an investigation into the matter.

In Bhadrak, an SUV hit a stationary truck from rear on NH-16 near Nalanga, leaving two occupants of the vehicle dead. On the other hand, three persons present inside the SUV sustained critical injuries in the accident and were admitted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital for treatment.

The ill-fated vehicle was heading towards Puri from West Bengal.
