Bhubaneswar: Former minister Ganeswar Behera today resigned from the primary membership of the Congress.
He sent a resignation letter in this regard to Sarat Patnaik, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) President.
He also thanked the party for giving him opportunity to serve the people of Odisha as an MLA and Congress worker.
Behera is likely to join the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), sources said.
