Former Malkangiri MLA Aditya Madhi Passes Away; Odisha CM Expresses Grief – N.F Times


Bhubaneswar: Former BJP leader and ex-MLA of Malkangiri, Aditya Madhi is no more. He passed away while undergoing treatment at AIIMS, Bhubaneswar on Wednesday. He was 49.

As per reports, Madhi has been suffering from chronic kidney ailments for a long time. He underwent a kidney transplant less than two years ago. However, he was being treated at AIIMS for several days due to illness and breathed his last today.

After two consecutive defeats in 2009 and 2014, Madhi won the Malkangiri Assembly constituency in 2019 by defeating Congress’ Mala Madhi with a margin of 25,569 votes.

However, Madhi withdrew from active politics due to health problems. In his place, the BJP nominated Narsingh Madkami who won from Malkanagiri seat.


Odisha CM Mourns Demise Of Aditya Madhi


Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Malkangiri MLA Aditya Madhi.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister said that Aditya Madhi was strongly involved in the development of Malkangiri as an MLA. He also played a major role in strengthening the party in Malkangiri district. He will forever be remembered as a revered politician by the people.

The Chief Minister has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the repose of his immortal soul.
