Buruea Chief PKB: Sambit Kumar Behera joined as the new IIC of Jeypore town police station. All the staff members of town PS expressed their wishes to Mr. Behera. The controlling of law and order in traffic can’t be avoided taking into consideration the growth of population and its related traffic issues. Mr Behera who hails from Kalahandi joined as SI of police in 2009. After serving Sambalpur and Nabarangpur, Mr.Behera joined at koraput district in 2018. He spent as an officer in Koraput, damanjodi and semiliguda for some years and had been serving as IIC of Sunabeda PS since last two years. After joining as IIC of Jeypore, Mr Behera is confident of getting cooperation from general public of Jeypore to streamline the traffic issues of Jeypore town. Taking steps to curb the menace of the criminals would be my top priority, Mr.Behera categorically stated.
