A function was organised at Town Engineering Conference Hall on 16th September to
commemorate World Ozone Day. Mr. P C Das, GM In Charge, Environment Engineering
Department of RSP and Mr. B K Jojo, GM In-Charge, Town Engineering were present on the
dais in the function. The programme was attended by more than 25 employees.
Mr. P C Dash made a detailed presentation on causes and effect of Ozone Layer Depletion, Steps
being taken by RSP to phase out Ozone Depleting Substances and protect the ozone Layer on the
occasion. Mr. Jojo spoke on the importance of the day and elaborated on the massive plantation
programmed of RSP to spread the canopy of green in the region to protect the Ozone layer.
The programmed was organised by the Environment Engineering Department of RSP.
