Buruea Head NF Times (PKB) : Dr.Manoranjan Pradhan, Lecturer in Education, Govt Women’s College jeypore has been decided to be conferred on “The Best State NSS officer Award for the year 2021-22. It was reported that on 19th October 2022 , the state NSS cell of the Department of Higher Education, Govt of Odisha would confer the most prestigious Award upon Dr Pradhan in the Award giving ceremony at jaydev Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
Hardly a month had been elapsed when Dr.Pradhan was awarded the best NSS Vir Sevek Award from Berhampur University, this recognition of honour and services being rendered by him would undoubtedly be described as a glowing glory to Koraput District. Along with this prestigious Award of Excellence from the state government, Dr Pradhan would be the first to receive this recognition. Many social workers, philanthropists and the general people of Jeypore including teaching fraternity have been elevated with joys receiving the information about the Award of the best NSS officer for Koraput District. As per sources, one of the students namely Barsharani Sahu would also be awarded on the occasion at jaydev Bhawan Bhubaneswar on the same day as The best Volunteer for 2020-21.
Dr.Manoranjan Pradhan, apart from being an excellent teacher, he is a social activist par excellence. When our correspondent asked about his reaction for this proposed Award, Dr Pradhan submitted” I hail from a rural background so serving the general community around my state incurrs me mental pleasure. God helps you if you serves HIS creation is my objective of life. When people in crisis or difficulties get my services and if they are benefited, that is the Best Award conferred on me as being proudly and politely stated by Dr.Manoranjan Pradhan.
