Rourkela : In a felicitation function organized at the ED(Works) Conference hall of Rourkela Steel Plant on 2nd November 2022 a total of 53 employees were felicitated. Mr. S R Suryawanshi, ED (Works) presided over the function and handed over the appreciation letter and token gifts. Present on the occasion were Mr. Naresh Kumar, CGM(Services), Mr. Dhirendra Mishra, GM In-charge (Personnel – Works), Mr. Ashok Kumar Panda, GM(Safety Engineering), Mr. Jeeban Ballav Pattnaik, GM(Fire Services), Mr. Somajeet Badapanda, DGM(Personnel) and Mr. P S Thakare, DGM(Fire Services), and other Senior Officers and employees of Fire Services and Personnel Department.
The Executive Director (Works) congratulated the employees for helping to complete the diversion job of the gate with full safety within the shortest possible time. He commended the capability of RSP collective in accepting and executing challenges jobs successfully and urged them to exhibit such sincerity and enthusiasm in future assignments also.
Mr. Naresh Kumar also congratulated the employees for displaying such concerted team work and completing the job ensuring complete. It may be mentioned that 37 employees from Fire Services department and 15 employees from Personnel Works- Man Power Cell were engaged in ensuring road safety inside the plant during the process of shifting of movement of vehicles from Traffic Gate to HSM-2 Gate and Hirakud Gate to SGP Gate during September and October, 2022. Mr. Jeeban Ballav Pattnaik, GM(Fire Services) was also felicitated for his able leadership in execution of the job.The programme was coordinated by Mr. Sanjib Kumar Behera, Manager(Personnel) with assistance from Mr. B Kiran Kumar, Executive Assistant (Personnel).
