Jeypore Railway Station be developed in a year
Bureau Head (PKB): The inspection visit of Anup Satpathy, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) to koraput district on Monday has opened a galaxy of positive assurances pertaining to the modernization of Jeypore railway station under AMRIT Bharat Jojana. In a Press interview, the DRM, Waltair Division categorically stated ” The development of Jeypore railway station under AMRIT Bharat Jojana would be alluring and eye-catching with the provision of all the required facilities. ” The tender floating for the modernization and upgradation of the railway station be done within a month, Mr Satpathy highlighted.
Spending one hour at the station while carrying out inspection, the DRM Anup Satpathy told ” The central govt lays emphasis upon the provision of all the facilities to the passengers along with the installation of elevators and rams connectivity for the Dibyanga ”
There are 16 stations of Waltair division including Jeypore which would be well equipped and sophisticated as per the railway board members and railway ministry. Our railway minister Ashwini Vaishnob had already visited twice to koraput district. The Union Railway Minister has had special fascination towards the development of enormous facilities for passengers, Mr Satpathy added.
During the press interview, the DRM recapitulated how pitiable were the conditions of koraput and Jeypore railway station once upon a time but his positive nod of assurances for developing this station under AMRIT Bharat Jojana generated a wave of joy and rapture among many social activists, philanthropists and general public.
Noted BJD leader Bala Ray, Senior Journalists Rajendra Gauda, Padmanav Hota, Pawan Panigrahi and many others drew the attention of DRM for converting the old goods shed into New Railway Station with all amenities and infrastructures. While further highlighting the improvement of railway facilities to undivided koraput district, Mr. Satpathy said, ” The doubling of lines are known to have been speedily constructed and land acquisition for Jeypore -Nabarangpur and Jeypore -Malkangiri railway lines have been going on with proper cooperation of the officials of both state and centre.
